RP specifically mentioned the New World Order in his speech. I have not heard him use this specific terminology before. Has anyone else? Am curious to know.

No he didn't. He might have been the first in recent times to use it but it was around well before him.

The term "new world order" has been used to refer to a new period of history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power. The first usages of the term surrounded Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen Points and call for a League of Nations following the devastation of World War I. The phrase was used sparingly at the end of the Second World War when describing the plans for the United Nations and Bretton Woods system, in part because of the negative association to the failed League of Nations the phrase would bring. In retrospect however, many commentators have applied the term retroactively to the order put in place by the WWII victors as a "new world order."

Hitler coined the term :) George Bush Sr used in a speech where he said we shouldn't celebrate the 4th of July anymore, we should celebrate "inter"dependence day.

Interestingly, the NWO people have made sept 12 interdependence day in celebration of sept 11th. They're claiming its only 3 years old, but George Bush Sr started the term in one of his NWO speeches or comments before and after. I found that out looking at the speech I thought it was in so I could post it, which was the NWO speech. Possibly was in comments afterward and not online.

Now it is being claimed that it was officially founded by guy who wrote jihad book on I suppose the policing the world idea (which has been talked for decades by the new world order crowd including the ford foundation.

Suspicious huh? Guess they found the terrorist act to push it, and are now celebrating our tragedy on Sept 11th as the great unifier. Sick.


Interdependence Day (note the inter-) was founded three years ago by Benjamin Barber, a political scientist and professor at the University of Maryland best known for his 1996 bestseller, “Jihad Vs. He added the autograph of Bertrand Delanoe, mayor of Paris, at the Sept 12 session in the city hall of Paris. Other sessions were held at the American University of Paris and the Bastille Opera. Michael Rocard, former French premier, was co-sponsor of this year's sessions, which drew dozens of political leaders and dignitaries from around the world. Among them was Dennis Kucinich, Ohio congressman and one of the Demo candidates for president last year, who plugged his proposal for a cabinet-level Department of Peace. Michael Gorbachev sent a letter saying he couldn't make it but endorsing the Interdependence Day project. There were lots of people from the arts, including director Robert Wilson, and many of them joined in a performance at the Bastille Opera on Sept. 11.

yep, it seemed like a bit of slip to me too, it's just one of those "taboo" words.. no biggy though.. while there may or may not be an elusive group of men plotting to take over the world through global governance, i think when Dr. Paul refers to the "New World Order", he's talking about a difference of philosophical opinion. There are statist collectivists out there, and there are those of us who are for liberty.

FDR, for all his faults, and being a cronnie of it himself (or so I believe) made a statement to the effects of "I've seen the New World Order, and it is neither new, nor is it order".

It could have been a matter though like Wilson; handled his administration 'like-so', then realized that what was done actually helped the NWO's agenda.

Really. Thanks. I saw Endgame but don't recall that. The words "New World Order" strung together have a unique connotation, I think. Remember how RP was reluctant to use the term "revolution" for quite some time until it was all over everywhere and he had had a few chances to publicly state that it was "the continuation of our founding fathers' revolution." He was worried about being accused of advocating violence by Fox news types. Similarly, "NWO" carries the "conspiracy theory" stigma.

I have a hard time believing the advocates are too worried right now.....

Maybe not so much as the GOP has solidified him out of the process.

They discussed him at Bilderberg apparently.. they were VERY worried about Ron Paul and his continued "education camps" where he was giving all the youth their "political education"... :D <and yes If someone wants the links, I can go find them - or you could do it yourselves :p)

It might be more accurate to say that Hitler first popularized the term New World Order in the modern era.

He's used it a number of times. On Glenn Beck and even at one of the presidential debates he was asked a direct question about that trying to corner him in and make him look like a cook. It backfired and RP picked up a bunch more supporters from that experience.

How I know it backfired on them? MSM never used that clip on TV, which they would have relentlessly if it had been in their favor. It wasn't so it was never to be seen again except on YouTube.
