McClintock is just another statist. Why is he on my TV screen?

Even AFTER Thompson dropped out, McClintock REFUSED to endorse Ron Paul. BOOO!

Maybe he stuck his finger out in the air and noticed the wind is changing. :)

Fred Thompson was probably the closest candidate to Ron Paul in terms of political philosophy. Fred was the only Republican candidate besides Ron Paul who I would have given a chance at convincing me to vote for him.

People can change. If not for change we will never grow with new members.

For a movement of freedom, we seem very exclusive.

McClintock is a pretty good man. He supported Ron Paul for awhile, but then switched to Thompson. He still stands for most of the principles that Ron does.

Look guys, we can't make everyone who doesn't agree with us 100 percent, our enemy. That will not serve us well as we move forward to take back our country.

You mean we shouldn't be principled?

Ultimately to get to the size and scope necessary, we will have people that won't believe in all of Paul's planks. We would probably need to decide what the core planks that would be required of all politicians we support. (Non-interventionist foreign policy, Zero taxes, No Federal Reserve)

Fred endorsed McCain. Fred is a liberal.

He has done that, I believe, twice. My parents always voted for him when he showed up on the ballot.

If the Republican base didn't get the "lesser of two evils" mentality in that race, it would have been a tight three way race, with McClintock probably winding up on top by two or three percentage points.

mcclintock knew his political career would be over if he supported Ron Paul. Don't get me wrong, I think thats a weak excuse, but that would be his I guarantee it

lol. No, of course not. All I mean is that we don't have to put them in the enemy category. We can work with them on those things we agree on and not on those things we do not. No need to declare war against them, when we share so much in common. That's only my opinion though.

California is going down the proverbial toilet.

I don't think it can be saved. If a Republican as popular as Arnold can't reduce government, spending, and the deficit, then a less popular Republican has no chance.

California will only become more socialist as the state's economy continues to go down the toilet. CA leads the nation in morons who take out million dollar mortgages to buy fixer uppers on an annual income of $30K.

Illegal immigration is out of control in CA. LA has 60% Spanish speakers. Our public institutions are being overwhelmed. Our infrastructure is become destroyed. The feeling of entitlement and bigger government programs is neverending.

Tax revenue will continue to plummet as businesses leave the anti-business climate of CA and with the realization that the million dollar homes everybody bought on loans aren't worth more than $300K.

It seems to me that Ron Paul has been very friendly towards McClintock and that McClintock is certainly better than the alternative (Ose, who is a neoconservative). McClintock would likely join Ron Paul's Liberty Caucus!

I voted for McClintock when the Arnold was running for governor. I agree that McClintock should not of endorsed Fred but at least in California, McClintock is the closest to an a RP candidate you are going to get if you factor in popularity.
