They probably would have used the same tactic against Palin if they could have, but it's kinda tough to call yourself a political news outlet and never even mention the name of the Republican VP pick. So they just resort to their second favorite tactic. Pick out something that could be misconstrued as bad, and repeat it ad naseum. She's under investigation. And that's all many people will ever learn about her.
