But it sure looks like the "management" is in control and maybe a vote will not even be taken.

Why would Romney get any votes? He officially ended his campaign while Paul only suspended his.

I think they both suspended.

I remember Romney suspending in late February. But I'm pretty sure Romney then later officially closed his campaign somewhere in the middle of the primaries. Maybe I'm wrong...

I think Romney suspended his campaign. Probably waited around in case McCain kicks the bucket.

Even if Romney dropped out what would stop any supporters from still voting for him.

According to the Utah rules the Candidate that got the most votes in the primary get the delegates votes. The PTB changed the rules a week ago though.

It looks as though we have 260 Ron Paul supporters among the delegates and alternates. That's sure than I expected. Congrats to them for making it to St. Paul and kudos to the DVD people who may have converted a few along the way.

Where did you get the number 260?

What is the word from any of "our" delegates? Anything? Good, bad, or indifferent?

" Another delegate, Brian Jenkins, may cast his vote for Ron Paul if allowed. " So he was NOT even allowed. Bullshit.

Pepper, that was the number listed in the program at Rally for the Republic. However, only a few will be allowed to vote on the floor.
