Anyone see Deepak Chopra on Wall Street Week with Maria Bartiromo?

Interesting interview. They talked up his role as an adviser to major global corporations. Some of his points (paraphrased, my interpretation):

Indian Diaspora - India population and migration is leading to Indian domination of the planet, not through war, but through shear numbers. Repeated several times that India can not be stopped, and resistence is futile.

American Union - An American Union needs to be formed from tip to tip (Canada to Argentina). Basically said that this is inevitable too.

Happiness of poverty - People are happiest as humans in places like Cuba, where human relationships are the focus, not material things.

Biggest CEO's in the world - The don't want money, but want happiness for all. They are all looking out for the good of all. Isn't it obvious?

------------

Bottom line is that it's scary that this guy is advising major corporate CEO's. While he may have some lofty goals of happiness for all, he is leading people down the road to serfdom. A one world oligarchy, with the the majority of people happy slaves. Yeah right. And of course the (not so) hidden agenda is Indian dominance in this New World Order.

Chopra is the ultimate dunce.

i'd love 15 rounds of verbal sparring w/ that obnoxious asshat.

someone should pay me mega bucks to write wanker books like he does, I'd do much better.
hell, I do much better now and I write for free (maybe that's the difference?)

He's a con artist, and skilled in the use of communist psychological warfare. He promotes fluffy new age spirituality that teaches complacency. Promoting lofty goals is a technique of communism. He'd steal the rug beneath your feet while distracting you with his 'wisdom'. Wolf in sheep's clothing. They are everywhere! False teachers/apostates, whatever you want to call them. He is learned in the ways that lead people to serfdom. He needs to be hung by his toenails and spanked.

Yeah, I love how he tries to mix quantum mechanics with consiousness. And how he has figured out how to live forever.
Total filmflam artist.

I had never heard anything from him, but in one short interview, it was obvious that he was dangerous...

Why is he a guest on WSW? I suppose he's just another shill and propagandist for the New World Oligarchy...and at the same time he's feathering his own bed with all of that evil money that will make the rest of us unhappy.

In addition to Communist style propaganda, he also reeked of a caste-system mentality: "You lower castes are happier cleaning out sewers with your bare hands and living in a mud hut. Ignore the palace I am living in."

Going to see if YouTube has that one. What an arse. Thanks for mentioning it. These people need to be weeded out and exposed for what they are. However, his zombie worship followers would probably put up a fit and defend their oppressor. Sound familiar? I love my abusers! Neocons and Socialists unite!

Found a revealing video, the interview is definitely playing devil's advocate.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1a5tZZyoPM

If he doesn't make you want to puke, then you have been conned. He is preaching moral relativism, and fantasy! This is what is being taught in public schools and displayed throughout our culture now! Fantasy and anything goes!

One thing he is brainwashing people with is to be submissive to oppressors:

The person committing the crime is already dealing with punishment. No need to punish them. Ha! We do not really exist, our bodies are just an illusion. This is the new age crap that is being spouted out everywhere! There is really no such thing as right or wrong.....religion is all about corruption. This guy is a one world gov't/religion aficiando.

At the end of I think the first Harry Potter movie, it says 'There is no such thing as right or wrong, just magic." We have been infiltrated with communist psychological warfare from every angle. I really thought the negative hoopla about those movies was ridiculous, not after I read more about them and have become well educated on communism. Not anymore. Immorality and the ends justifies the means is being taught to the kids of today. They are being subtley taught to defy parental authority. Houston....we have a problem. Obey the state, not your parents. Parents told you being molested is wrong, not so. There is no such thing as right or wrong, things change over time. 'Progressive' change and consesus thought is a tenant of communism.

You think this is far fetched, not so. People that abuse children in this way mentally are sick and capable of anything. They have no morals.

When it comes to your first statement, don't be fooled. The reason he says he's against W is because W portrays himself as a Christian. Deepak wants to destroy Christianity.

His new age stuff is deliberate brainwashing, he doesn't believe the crap he is spouting. He is as bad as they come. He is a commie sorceror, a.k.a. mind controller. Brain magician.

Great video here (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3190951131579891616&q=greg+koukl&hl=en)of Chopra's new age philosophy of moral relativity and christian bashing being taking apart piece by piece.

He's practically having a meltdown by the end of the interview :)

Well, Christianity has plenty of skeletons in the closet that can be exploited as well. I think I'll just not belive either for now. :)

Aye carumba, that interview makes my brain numb!

Let's just say that the First Amendment and separation of church and state are great ideas.

Deepak's personal spiritual ideas are fine for him and whoever wants to follow them. When that starts to influence politics and economics, it can be bad. Specifically:

- When Deepak tells global CEO's and politicians that a North to South American Union, and even a Global Union is a good and inevitable idea, that's bad.

- When Deepak tells global CEO's and politicians that crime needs no punishment, that's bad. (At the same time that we have an epidemic of white collar crime, i.e. CEOs running off with all the cash, hedge-fund and money market collapes due to dirty deals, mortgage scams, rampant oligopolies, politicians with conflicts of interest, Federal Reserve pyramid schemes, etc...)

- When Deepak tells global CEO's and politicians that the happiest people are those with nothing, that is bad. (so abusing employees, workers, lower classes, lesser castes, and average citizens is really good for them...)

I don't know the statistics of how many believe his fantasy-oriented, subservient bullcrap, that's for sure. He has sold a ton of books though. What's going on there? He has a following of some significant degree. Tons of people are into the fluffy duffy new age fantasy arena though. They're being seduced into complacency, inaction, and hedonism (everything is about feeling good). They want to get people away from feelings of anger, for example.

Austin, dumbass capital? Sorry to hear that. I've been finding that everywhere I go is dumbass capital. :( Maybe not NH. Got to admit, I'm a recovering dumbass.:D At least was a dumbass to a certain degree, woke up to the political shenanigans before the 2004 elections.

Great thread, you guys!

I am a metaphysical type, myself (NOT new age). The most mind blowing stuff I have ever read was in The Nature of Personal Reality, which deals with consciousness, and how thought creates reality. There is NOTHING NWO about those those types of ideas, rather they speak to who and what we are, and the matrix.

I've always found Deepak Chopra to be an interesting man who, obviously, is familiar with such concepts. That said, there have been things that have made me very uncomfortable about him. His pandering to the clebrity crowd (selling spirituality for money), and his general Deepak Chopra, Inc. thing. I never knew he said those things about globalism! I heard him (on Larry King) mention the bit about Cuba. I glossed over it, without thinking about what all of you have said. Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention.

I'm quite certain that Deepak would not care to reside in Havana.

I just want to say that Los Angeles, California is in the Top Ten Dumbass Cities in the United States. Even the 'educated' people are completely brainwashed, sanctimonious socialists with a smattering of numbed-out neo-cons lurking in there. The rest of the population is a mass of third world robots who don't have the reasoning abilities God gave a soapdish.

LA in the top ten? LOL. It's got to be top three at a minimum.

It's always amazed me why people chase after people like Chopra. He's just doing a poor rip-off of Eastern Philosophy and repackaging it for the gullible and needy.
