I thought this part of an article I found was pretty funny:
“Thank you, I’ve got to get in there and get to work,” he said as he stepped up to the metal detectors.
In the meantime, I was regaled by two Ron Paul supporters about the need to replace the U.S. monetary system, eliminate the department of education and stop collecting income taxes all together.
Halfway through the wait a small group of protestors [sp] broke unnoticed through the security perimeter to shout at delegates about the need for a “sexual revolution.”
“Everybody needs sex,” one woman shouted, while calling for support of gay marriage.
To which the Ron Paul delegate replied to me: “Well that makes me look clean and sober don’t it.”
