I wonder if McCain has been getting any sleep these last few days. I imagine he has been tossing and turning at night worrying about the hurricane hitting the gulf coast.

I like how reserved Ron Paul was to criticize Sarah Palin. I think he personally likes her, but he's not going to compromise our movement because McCain still heads the ticket. I thought of something, how awesome would it be if Ron Paul was nominated Secretary of State... HAHA! He wouldn't go anywhere and tell other nations, "It's your responsibility."

They were looking for some sort of canned emotional response about the hurricane from Ron, he wasn't having any of it though.

Anything is possible, people are so fixated on painting Palin as this new evil person, "Guilty by association" you never know what can happen but it's clear RP is reserved and likes her....

I thought I heard him say, "I owned a beach house, up to a year ago."

So I would assume he does not own it any longer.

RP: Well...it still hasn't made a lot of my supporters all that happy. I have to say that Palin sounds like a very good person and has a lot of good conservative credentials, but nonetheless things won't change. We still know what the foreign policy is going to be like and the monetary policy, so we can't get too excited.
