1776 copies of The Manifesto anyone?

This will only take 444 members buying 4 copies each.

I say we set up a chip-in and once the goal is reached we do a mass delivery via Amazon.

Seems like it would be a waste of money. Wouldn't sending her just one copy be sufficient? Sending her 1776 copies of the same book might kind of weird her out, and put her off to reading the book at all.

One copy could easily be lost or ignored. The purpose of a mass order would be avoiding this possiblity. Besides, it's not like we couldn't put a simple note in the order suggesting that she donate them in a way she sees fit.

I am sure she has an iPod, so we should send her the audio version as well.

this is the only useful thread about Sarah Palin. thank you RCA.

we could send her both audio and 2 copies of the Revolution..

I would put up money.

if she really read and listened to the Revolution. she could try and make a difference in the white house..

its a powerful book. we should at least try.

we all know she is open to hearing our message.

Well, why not write Ron Paul and have him give her a copy personally. We could letter bomb Paul's office urging him to do so. That would be kinda rude, but you get the idea.

Well, i dunno if he would. I know I wouldn't.

Hi. You're a governor and I'm a congressman. Here is my book. You need to read it because I'm right and I'm worried you might think its ok to nuke Iran.

I think it would be better if we had people give it to her in person at the meet and greets- that is if any of us have managed to avoid getting ID'd and banned.

So have an associate do it, or mail it to her. If it came from his office, that would be more special than some random guy scheming to send her a bunch of books with a return address from some place she's never seen. Send it from the campaign for liberty office or something. I would if I were Ron.

He could say somethine like:

"Here's a free copy of my book. I know my supporters were enthusiastic about you as a potential VP fo my campaign. Anyways, enjoy."

Why not other books as well? The Manifesto is, after all, a dumbed down primer to the War on Drugs, austrian econ, etc.

Hell, I bet if the offices of Obama and McCain were suddenly flooded with copies of "The Road to Serfdom" and "Socialism", it could make the news.

My guess, and it's only a guess, is that she has read the book already...

O rly?

Why not? I think its more believable to think she has than to think she hasn't.

Sending her a million books would not make a difference. She has already been bought and paid for by McCain.

WTF is wrong with you people and wanting to "bomb" everything? Book bombs, letter bombs, registration bombs, digg bombs, etc.

No wonder they think we're crazies.

I kid. But it's kind of absurd to waste resources sending McCain's VP copies of the book. A dozen or two, maybe, but 1776 copies?

Get real..

This might be a good idea because it might pique her curiosity about the book, and this little turncoat probably won't give a shit about Ron Paul right now otherwise.

Maybe we should send thousands of copies to every asshole neo-con.

Think of the press that it would get us!

No, no, no. The concept is not being grasped here. For starters, to get the media's attention we didn't make just ONE donation on November 5th, we made thousands! I called it a book bomb for a reason, not a book gift. If we are going to make any kind of a splash in the media, even local, we need to send her cases of The Manifesto.

Secondly, suggesting Ron Paul send her a copy of his book clearly is admitting ignorance to how the basic political process is supposed to work. I'll give you a hint, who is Sarah Palin's boss? Another hint, it sure as heck isn't Ron Paul! Ok, still haven't got it? Ok, it's her CONSTITUENTS, aka, the people. The purpose is to send her a message from the people in regards to how we EXPECT her to hold office. If Ron Paul sent her a single copy of the his book, it wouldn't even make it to her in the first place.
