I wrote a perl script to grab all the data from http://ronpaul.meetup.com/about/ and then parsed it to grab the state/member count for each MeetUp group. Here's what I got (and the bad news is I'm pretty sure if you join 10 groups yourself MeetUp counts it as 10 members):

(This doesn't count members who are awaiting a group to join, Canadians or other foreign groups)

Interesting. I cut and diced the Manhattan+ group's data a couple days ago, and we had about 400 folks from NY/NJ/CT tri-state area, and about 70 from other states who are probably listed on their local meetups as well.

We need to get Wyoming, Maine, and NH's #s up, even though they are small states, they are influential states (early primaries).

agreed especailly NH. Im suprised its not bigger, it should have at least 1,000 people

And half of the people in the HQNH Meetup group...

..aren't even from NH.
