They say its because of the hurricane, but it may be the CFL hurricane that is coming to MN they are afraid of. Gustav couldn't be any further from MN.


Republican officials said yesterday that they are considering delaying the start of the GOP (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/U.S.+Republican+Party?tid=informline) convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul because of Tropical Storm Gustav (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Hurricane+Gustav?tid=informline), which is on track to hit the Gulf Coast, and possibly New Orleans, as a full-force hurricane early next week.

I know why. The neocons are afraid New Orleans will take all the buses again. GOP needs those buses to haul people in after they paid them to attend. Just like all the other posers did for all the straw polls and media events.

how could they delay something that thousands upon thousands of delegates and media already made travel plans for? really?

It's because you can't make St. Paul a police state if all the police are in New Orleans.
