There is a check-off on your income tax form, and if you don't want your money spent on elections, don't check it.

Taxes collected are irrelevant and a diversion to where the real money the government spends comes from.

This has been all over Digg for weeks.. nobody really seems to care. They seem to be fine with the two parties getting over $50,000,000 each and the third parties are getting none. Ask your friends and family how they feel about this.

And they both get classified as a National Special Security Event (http://www.ustreas.gov/usss/nsse.shtml), which means they get all kinds of free security coverage at our expense.
