Obama's speech tonight would sell well and pull him ahead of McCain in crucial last few weeks before elections.. Obama's magic is back so to speak.
Obama had took hits after his recent flip flops and grovelling before pro war aipac lobby but his speech tonight and anti war stance would likely stop bleeding of Obama support.
McCain convention speech, Georgia conflict or anything else on the horizon not likely to save the day for GOP. Thanks G W Bush.

A democrat president is exactly what the GOP needs to be restored

Personally I'm more concerned about America's restoration and not too crazy about either party as an independent. Hopefully Obama won't become a puppet into the hands of pro war foreign lobbying groups with ties to democratic party despite some bad rearly signs.

I agree.

The GOP shun Ron Paul and his Ideas so its their fault. They look like rich old angry hypocrites.

No republican could compete against this. The millions of people who paid close attention to the past 8 years want change. They have rallied behind a party and a good speaker not ideas of real change.

Will Obama deliver on the few promises of change he offers? that remains to be seen but hes a better deal than Mccain in many peoples view.

Yeah I could care less about the republicans now. I am EXTREMELY conservative and for liberty but why should I care about this stupid party that just runs up our debt and taxes the future generations. I don't know what to think about America’s future. All I see is debt, entitlements, spending, credit, high taxes, and a lower standard of living. I will do all I can to convince others of Paul's message, but you know what; ALL EMPIRES AND GREAT NATIONS FALL. We are screwed and we are doomed for downfall. AAAAAAAA I really shouldn't watch these socialist speeches. They really tick me off.

It'd be nice if both convention centers got time-warped back to 1793. That way our founding fathers could dispatch both candidates like the traitors they are.

Meh, the GOP and McCain deserves the screwing that they'll probably get.

Yeah that would be amazing. I actually tried to call in Hannity's show today with a question about the founding fathers. I was going to ask him: "If the founding fathers were alive today, who would they vote for?" He probably would be retarded and say they would vote for the least of two evils or that its not the same timeframe.

Exactly what the Republicans deserve and need. Maybe it will wake them up. :)

Actually they have rallied around a candidate who cannot put a sentence togeher on an actual issue. He stumbles and fumbles all over the place. The only time he can string together the words for a complete uninterrupted by "UH's" sentence is when he is not saying anything of any substance, just platitudes and slogans over and over.

He is good at reading a teleprompter, but cannot utter a complete sentence.

Will this do?

Unfortunately, this descendent is also a traitor.

Ben Franklin descendent is delegate to Dem Convention
________________________________________
Delegate says he is eighth generation descendent of Ben Franklin

http://www.algonet.se/~top/livecam.htm

In video he says he is a delegate and that Ben Franklin would be PROUD of this Obama movement.

If there is any way to find out how to contact this poor misguided descendent of Franklin, he needs to be reminded just exactly how his ancestor is turning over in his grave right now!!!

A few choice quotes of Ben Franklin should do nicely.

Unbelievable!!!!!!!

While I really REALLY hate both candidates, I'm kind of inclined to lean towards McCain. Just so the smile on all those Democrats who are so full of themselves saying "the next president of the United States, Barack Obama!" Honestly did anyone count how many times they said that at the convention?

They will say it just as many times, if not more, at the GOP convention. If you want to rally the base, even in third parties, that is what you do. What fires you up more "the next President of the United States, RON PAUL!!!" or "the possible next president of the United States, Ron Paul?"
