"Russia is responsible for the crisis," Wood said in an off-camera meeting with reporters in Washington on Thursday. "For the Russians to say they are not responsible for what happened in Georgia is ludicrous. ... Russia is to blame for this crisis and the world is responding to what Russia has done."

Russia is to blame?? Who started this again?!

That article is definitely retarded.

Uh, Russia DID NOT start this. That fact has been PROVEN a hundred times over. I am not a big fan of Russia myself but for once they are not the aggressor and could of taken the whole country if they wanted to. Now we are prodding them with this “missile shield” under 100 miles from their border. We have to be fair about this. You say because it came from Putin, is Bush’s mouth any better? Go watch that kid on FOX who was there. She was THANKING the Russians for getting her back to the US in 2 days, and stated the Georgians started killing civilians, not the other way around.

actually this is up there with quemoy and matsu being offshore islands somewhere in 1960...
right now the great debate is over what a nation or nation-state actually totally is in real life.

Putin didnt go far enough. He should have overthrown that CIA puppet Suckassvilli and hanged him for genocide.

Russia is 100% in the right here.

Monsieur Putin assumes McCain's fulsome I.Q points also missed the powerplays
of G.W Bush's courtiers one and all.--- Yet V.Putin assumes J.McCain is inately ambitious.

Putin does have something though... he said American troops were fighting... I do believe that since I was in Kosovo 6 months before any american troops set foot there.

I wish someone would prove this and that though, snag up military intel that can be shown and documented.

It might be our government pulling the strings but we DO need to put BLAME on the puppets who are allowing it. Where are those soldiers who are ready and willing to STAND UP for our constitution?

Most if they even stand up a little will end up with NJP. This was one of the reasons I left.

I only know Georgia initiated the trouble by attacking South Ossetia.

And I think the leader there is another US puppet. So Putin may be close to the truth.

I would like to direct you to a real news source (http://michaeltotten.com/), before someone else does(some are very prompt in handing it out here). This is a blog of some obscure Michael Totten who claims to have real insider coverage of the conflict including activities of SO militiamen, and also few tips from a guy who wrote several (anti-russian) diaries.

But somehow he(totten) mentions the words GAS and PIPELINES only once, and doesn't even bother to mention Israel, even after the Israeli acceptance of the fact that they armed the Georgians to the teeth. But some smart guys here who think 9-11 conspiracy wackos have got some serious problems accept this journal as the most credible inside info of the entire Eurasian conflict.

Happy reading
