Does anyone know if RP would have the Fed gov't interfere with state control laws? That is, does he think the 2nd amendment only applies to the Fed. Gov't or can a Federal court strike down a state or local gun control law on 2nd Amendment grounds?

The Second Amendment is currently one which the Supreme Court of the United States has NOT applied to the states through the due process clause of the 14th Amendment. So the states can still have gun control laws.

I was interested in RP's position so that I don't represent him when I speak to people. I am aware of the SCOTUS position.
