I would LOVE to see Pat Buchanan as Keynote speaker at Ron Paul's convention..that is the one who really should be. Buchanan/Paul 2012 OR Paul/Buchanan 2012. Either way..that would be real change. Tones

Cheers at the DNC after Ron Paul's mention!

Absolutely not a word said on the major issues from either candidate. I guess until they are on the street penniless, they like to hear nothing of substance. It'll take 1929 to get em off their arses!

It is our job to make sure they have plenty of chances to listen to the freedom message!

He should've said, "Go to Ron Paul's convention," not "Come to Ron Paul's convention!" Pathetic...

He should've said, "Go to Ron Paul's convention," not "Come to Ron Paul's convention!" Pathetic...

The former could imply that he is not going to be there, right? I like "come" better.

I liked the part where he said "where's cheney? 18 %! It's a free shot!"

Its not THAT big of a deal... even if you do analyze that statement (which no one should, its intent is pretty simple), you'd probably reach the conclusion that asking someone to come somewhere is much more friendly and inviting that telling someone to go somewhere, which is more of an order, and not as persuasive.

I was only being silly. Of course I knew what Pat meant when he invited the panel to attend Dr. Paul's convention. It's cool. :D

pat buchanan is very right about the speech situation at the convention.

pat buchanan is a master speech writer, and famous for a very manipulative speech at a convention. he knows what he is talking about, and the american people are hungry for a candidate that will come out shooting fire out of his mouth at bush, shooting fire out of his mouth about torture, shooting fire out of his mouth about the iraq war.

all this tiptoeing and being nice only shows complicity with the Bush era, that it wasn't "that bad", just a difference in policy. If obama delivered an acceptance speech that sounded like a declaration of war with Bush' policy, this election would be in the bag.

ironically, because he won't get tough with it, i am starting to think he will squander his huge lead and give McCain the election at this point.

youtube wants to fill up with a candidate saying "XXXXXX.... ownz bush" "XXXXXX... ownz mccain" .

this is why ron paul is still hype as he ever was, because there is no shot in hell obama is going to take a strong stance against Bush.

only conservatives will ever do that. even clinton wouldn't... the only person taking hard shots at bush's dad during the election where clinton won, was pat buchanan.
