This is brining back some memories, when I was younger my father and I would listen to his scanner some nights and quiz each other on the codes...He was a volunteer EMT and Firefighter at the time.

I have a foggy memory of hearing voices saying, "51-50" regarding my most recent 3-day involuntary confinement, at a nearby mental health facility.

LOL..

I don't know...Maybe you are a 10-96. I'll have to ask my pops next time I see him...He was also a Army morse code interceptor during the Vietnam War, although he spent no time in Vietnam, he was intercepting in Cambodia....He can still translate sentences into "dit dahs" as you speak...To this day, it amazes me every time he does it. :)

10-96 Is a "mental subect". (Usually not quite as dangerous to a Cop as a common domestic call, 'cause trouble is expected.)

Anyways you can also monitor the Denver PD and FD, Plus Addtl DNC Operations on that site. I missed the big protests tonight as i was activated for communications in Utah for a wild fire. Maybe get to listen the rest the week. Anyways if your monitoring and can please donate!!

That page is working hard to have a feed of the same type things for the RNC. To help make that happen they could use a funding boost. Last night they set a record of 680 listeners, that amount of bandwidth is not cheap. Please donate if you can, every $5 helps
