All I want in this world can be summed up into one very neat and concise sentence: To be left alone and keep the fruits of my labor.
Is this really too much to ask of anyone? Isn't this something everyone wants? To just be left alone to live their life as they see fit and keep the all the fruits of ones labor?
Every election I here more promises made by all these yahoos (I could easily say far worse) to bother me more and to take more of the fruits of my labor and it really really irks me.
They say this and that for the betterment of society. I ask, can't their be more than one society? Do we all have to live under the rules of the same society? Why can I not live in a society that I think is better for me?
Is it really too much to ask to be left alone and to be able to keep the fruits of my labor? I'm not hurting anyone. I ask simply because I am at the point of frustration and it must be vented one way or another.
