I have a friend who's a huge Obama supporter...he can't tell me much of what he stands for, he's just following his message of "change".
I sent him an e-mail acting like it was a challenging e-mail on Obama and asked how he can support a candidate who:
Has the support of Louis Farrakhan
Voted against the war in Iraq
Says that gay marriage should be left to the states
Wants to end the income tax, saying that if we returned to spending of 1997 we could end it.
Wants the abortion choice left to the states...
and a few others
He basically replied defending each point.
When the blind follow blindly...why not give them something better to follow than just a man with bad ideas. Give him some good ideals to start pondering (and defending).
