What does a district rep do?

What does a district rep do?

we will be trained at the training classes.
Each state will be given a structured team of activist.
I'm assuming we will be in charge of getting the canvassing done by people in our districts. Make sure Ron Paul candidates get the support they need in our districts, and act as a liason for people in my district who have questions are need something from the campaign for liberty.
those are my assumptions thus far.

So the CFL is calling individuals to kind of "oversee" a district? That is pretty interesting, and encouraging for things to come.

Each state is broken down into "congressional districts" to my understanding.

I will see you at the class. In Maryland's Second Congressional District, the republican congressional candidate is the district rep.

Did you apply or were just called out of the blue? wondering if maybe they are keeping eyes open for those most active in campaigning and what not.

Congrats!

There are also two state wide people appointed in each state, so 535. The idea was to have the same amount of people as the US house and senate combined.

See you guys there. I'm coming from PA's first district.

Congrats!

Each state has a state coordinator. The state coordinator is supposed to work with each congressional district to find the best representative for that district. Each State is also allowed 2 at-large spots. This makes 535.

The state coordinator gets too appoint the people from their state to go to the summit. Generally, the state coordinator knows most of the people in the state that were active and dedicated.

From my understanding, there will be CFL elections held in two years in any congressional districts that would like to replace the rep that is appointed at this time.

I am still interested in being an official rep for my area but cannot make the training. Is that a possibility?

The idea is that, once the Coup d'état is complete - we've got people in place, ready...

I got called out of the blue, but i'm sure you could apply for it by emailing your state coordinator and asking.

It helps that I had officially endorsed Ron Paul as the vice-chair of the libertarian party of louisiana before i stepped down to join the republican party and become a delegate for ron paul.

More good news!
Been promoted to Assistant Coordinator!
They were impressed with how easily i could hook them up with all the key liberty activist in the state.
Hopefully by the rally, we will have our political machine re-established in Louisiana. The same group that won this state's caucus!

CFL District Leader for NC 9 checking in.

Good "crossover" too.

President - Southern Mecklenburg Republican Club - Affiliated with the Federation of Republican Men -- which gives me a seat on the Mecklenburg GOP Executive Board.

Looking forward to the Monday meeting. I sincerely hope this lays the foundation for taking back the GOP. I am not interested in forming a third party or doing anything extreme. This group, hopefully, will work within the GOP to reform it from the ground up, because, boy does it need it. I am also convinced there are people within the RNC and the Republican Party in general that completely understand this. I don't think pissing people in the RNC off is the best way of getting our feet in the door.

I wish I was a representative, unfortunately I don't think my state coordinators know who I am, since I did most of my work in Michigan. :( I guess I wasn't representing my district properly lol.

The info I have is that Arizona still has slots left: email your state coordinator here

http://rally.campaignforliberty.com/contact/state.php?state=AZ

If you don't get a response within 24 hours, PM me for a higher level contact.

Slots also still possibly available in California, New York, Montana, Louisiana, among others.
