I'm a senior in high school, and just yesterday I saw my history teacher from last school year in the hall way. He helped me out in the early stages of becoming involved, because he knew a teacher who was also a Republican City Councilman in my area, so he helped kick-start my involvement. This same history teacher, however, showed significant interest in voting for Obama, and I'm pretty sure he voted for him in the primary. However, he always took interest in many of Ron Paul's policies, such as "no pre-emptive strikes on Iran" and was also curious about the federal reserve system. Sure he knows a bit about the fed, but he obviously has figured out that Ron Paul knows some things about the fed that he doesn't..
So yesterday in the hall, he pulls me aside and brings up The Manifesto. He said he really doesn't like the way the economy is being handled, and also doesn't like the proposals on how it should be handled, apparently by either candidate. So, he asked me if I had a copy of Ron's book, so he could read it.
I do have a copy, but my mother is currently reading it. This is a fantastic opportunity, so I was hoping the generous folks at RPFs could donate a copy of The Manifesto. I can either return it to you after he finishes reading it, or better yet, I could continue to circulate it among friends and family who want to read it. Currently, I know 5 people who have specifically asked if they can borrow it.
So, if you are interested in helping out, shoot me a PM and we can flush out the details. Good opportunity here folks, don't let it slip away. I'd fund the project myself, but I don't even know if I'll have enough to get to Minnesota. Speaking of which, if you have 5 extra bucks you can throw my way (I'll be able to make it there and back on $300 or less), I'd appreciate it.
