Carol has made a remarkable turnaround. The doctors just removed her breathing tube and she is alert, talking and can NOT wait to get out of bed. Hopefully, she will leave the ICU in a few days and head to more comfortable accomodations to begin her rehabilitation.

Luvie gave us quite a scare, and we all so relieved she is pulling through. All of your kind notes and well-wishes mean the world to her and Dr. Paul.

He did leave when Carol had her surgery a year ago, but he was on the phone every free moment he had.

Great news, I agree. As far as what was wrong with her, based on the little news that was released (multiple abdominal surgeries in a week), I'd wager that at least 1 of those surgeries was exploratory, but beyond that it's tough to say. There are just so many things that could have been going on.

I think he would. Think if you were in his position.
this is the movement he's dreamt of his entire life, and finally has a platform to get it energized and making an impact.
what would carol want him to do?
no doubt it'd be extremely painful for him to do though.
