This is very tragic news and I extend my condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers.

We really don't need any more violence going into the DNC, what the police do at the DNC will impact the future for all parties.

The gunman said he was interested in volunteering, said Sam Higginbotham, a 17-year-old volunteer at the headquarters, The Associated Press reported.
"That was obviously a lie," Higginbotham said, the AP reported.
