Am I the only one who jumped up and screamed when the US came from behind to win the 4x100 free relay?!

That was one of the most impressive feats of athleticism I have ever seen.

EDIT: hahahaha! One of the swimmers just referred to "the frenchies." He is not our finest diplomat :D

Best race I have ever seen. With 25 meters left and half a body length behind, I dont think anyone in the world thought he would pull that off.

Where can I see a replay of it?

I can't find one yet. It should be on the NBColympics.com site in the future, but they don't have it up yet. It was uploaded to youtube, but NBC had it pulled quickly.

Currently towards the bottom in the search video category, at the top right. It's also coming up again on NBC's replay, probably in an hour or so.

Microsoft is pushing Silverlight to watch vids on that site. Lame.

I watched the replay of the last 50 meters at least 50 times. Gets me excited every time.

Im going to go out on a limb here and say that this wouldnt have been so spectacular had Jones not been such a weak link comparatively. He was a full second slower than Bousquet. His time was more fit for the 3rd place Australian team.

Ha, yeah, I don't give one rat's fart about sports in general, but when I saw that, woooeeee!

That was one of the most awesome things I've seen in sports in sometime... I think the announcers didn't realize Lezpak was catching Bernard till he was on him... that was absolutely fantastic!

I stayed up way too late to watch it too, think I'm paying for it this morning...

That was simply amazing! I clicked paused it at when the hand touched the wall and the French swimmer was just inches behind him and a split second away. It couldn't have been closer.

Here's what's really amazing. The IOC and NBC's contract won't allow American's outside of the USA see any content whatsoever because clearly anyone who lives abroad must not give an ants rear about watching USA sporting events.

I watched in Australia, and it was a superb effort!

It has been re-played many times here.

Watch out. The Aussies are going to steal some Gold from you in the pool.

Well done.

This was a great race, I literally fell off my chair when they won and probably woke the entire house up. But I'm sure they forgave me after they saw this morning.

Thanks for the video, Ninja Homer. That was an impressive finish! I don't think I've ever been that excited watching Swimming in my life! The USA rules the waters once again. ;)
