I hope they have checked with the FAA. Someone looked into having the Army Parachute Team drop onto the end of our walk with a huge flag. No go, the airspace is closed for the RNC.

Umm... you should contact them! =o

If it is closed they could always fly as close as possible.

I'm sitting here with a pilot who is reading the NOTAM, and from his reading it is a 30 mile ring. That jibes with the parachute team report that we got. He just left a message with RP-AC...

If anyone knows the pilots, we would love to know if they got a waiver somehow
