With the Olympics, the Russia-Georgia conflict, and last, but certainly not least, the John Edwards affair (oh, and tire pressure gauges), has RP made the announcement he referred to earlier in the week? I probably missed it.

Ron Paul is actually competing in the Olympics. Ya know how he set a Pennsylvania state record in the 100m back in the 50s? Well, you ain't seen nothing yet.

"IF" there is something big Ron Paul knows about and its not clear what it is - or his expression of it.. THEN it would be wise to start this trumpet sounding......

America is a fast food nation, and that also means fast food news. If you ain't in the news today you are not relevent. In other words, he needs to be keep on, keeping on saying what this "something big is...." over and over...

[edit - do not ever post that link again. It can ruin peoples work and is not funny, I don't mind standard RR's, that one is malicious, thanks - rph]

There have been a number of events that have led us to postpone our next major announcement. Unfortunately, I can't go into them as some are private and others involve ongoing negotiations, but the two major news stories today were certainly going to made it difficult to get any air in this news cycle. Next week should be more eventful.

Thanks for the update Don, a good choice, glad to see there's some consideration given to media presence with these announcements :)

Thanks Don for at least a little tide me over for the weekend, I appreciate it. I am also glad to see that c-span will be covering the event. I was soo hoping to make it to St. Paul but unfortunately because of surgery on the 28th of Aug I will be unable to attend. Man you do not know how depressing it is to know that I will not be able to go. But I will be there in spirit and will be whooping and hollering in the hospital letting all the staff know about the the Man and the movement. Good Luck to everyone involved and to everyone attending I pray for safe trips for all and good times for everyone!
