We are NEWS in Shawano/Bonduel! I was just interviewed by Doug Erdman of WTCH in Shawano for his news radio program. He heard about the Great American Walk for Freedom because the Village of Bonduel President sent him our email announcement. He’s also going to put out a 15 second PSA for us and our Town Hall Meetings will be covered as a news item as well. He’s also referring our story to his friends in the media in Wausau.

This is one example of the kind of buzz we can create but help is needed to do this. We still need people to make local media contacts like this. If you can help please call me at 323-804-7206 ASAP.

Put together an informative write-up article, along with the walk's website link, and send it off to these guys. The less they have to do a write-up themselves, and the more its written and ready to publish, helps insure publication in small-town papers with little staff & resources. I assume most of them are weeklies, they generally hit the streets thursdays, and better figure they need the story in their hands by monday, early tue at the latest, in order to make the Thursday edition.
