Yeah, I want your money. Greenbacks, dead presidents, moolah, yen, whatever. Is it for a good cause? Yeah. It is.

I know you're all strapped, I am. And if I could take back a few of the donations I made, I certainly would, but for the most part, I'm really happy with the money I've donated through these channels.

Not a single dime goes to me. It goes to http://www.alcpac.com/, and it benefits http://www.walk4freedom.com/.

So, here's the chip-in: http://walk4freedom.chipin.com/walk4freedom-pa

If you can help out even a little bit, it's much appreciated. Oh, and I have one spot in my car from NW PA to Minnesota for the rally if anyone needs a ride (and Curtis decides he has a better way.)

I know, but what are the expenses it has that need to be paid for?

Oh wait, nvm... I think I remember. You're handing out stuff to people, etc. right?

What specifically is money being raised for?

Door to door, and town to town canvassing.

For a group of activists who are going to walk 280 miles in 3 weeks and grow our movement.

The money is to keep us ground pounding activists from sleeping in the streets and pissing in the bushes.

Bottom line is I am experimenting, with a network of fundraisers, to help us raise money in the long run.

We are getting great responses from the towns on our route. We have mayors and chambers of commerce and churches helping us set up TownHall meetings, where we are giving a presentation called;

The Case for Freedom: The Constitution is the Way Forward for America.

Thanks Amy and Kotin and everyone helping. I've risked $15k on this, cause I know that face to face personal appeals are the #1 way to win people to our side.

You want to help?

Donation received Cowlesy. You rock man. We have a special account set up for the walkers, which they can access on the ground with a debit card. If the funds dry up, they dry up (literally). Help them get the job done by donating :)

You guys are great. Thanks KC.

I just wish that stupid widget would update and show that I'm kicking some ass with the fundraising. :P

Yes, chip-ins can be buggy with updates. I would have rather used Freeople and will migrate the RFG over, after this effort, but the learning curve/time frame was too much for one man...

You might want to edit the OP so all the donate links head to your widget. I think Cowlesy might have hit the main one.

Thanks everyone

:)

Yeah, I noticed that and edited a little bit ago. No big deal, it all goes to the same place.

Nope. Mine. I put the wrong link in. Like I said, it's all going to the same cause though--so no big deal.

Ronpaulhawaii did such a wonderful job helping us with organizing the march that as co-found I would personally recommend every one get behind walk4freedom. It is a great cause and I personally know one of the people putting this together and they are true to this movement. Help them out and join in every event in this freedom movement.

Hey, Mike. I was speaking to Jim Azzola here in Ct. today and I will do my best to get to Minnesota early enough to join the last leg of the march. :-)

Fantastic, I was hoping you would; kept quiet as you are busy trying to get there.

We have been working on scheduling RPs participation and it is looking like a short walk/picnic on the 1st - Details in the works :)

We have also been invited to join the Liberty parade on the 31st, they are giving us a booth and a speaking slot

:D

The Twin Cities will be the place to be - not to be missed
