Recently an e-mail was sent out by Ron Paul Forums to members with "Receive Email from Administrators" enabled in their profiles.

Anyone notice any results from this e-mail? For example, the head of my meetup group forwarded that e-mail to the meetup members. Anyone notice any inactive members return to the forum?

Anyone know what feedback the forum administration got from this e-mail?

Here's what the e-mail said

> Remember Nueces - Several Texas grassroots activists including the delegate patriots in Nueces County have decided to CONTINUE TO FIGHT the abuses that occurred at the Nueces County Convention and were perpetuated by the Texas Republican Party at the State Convention. To that end, funds are being raised to pursue legal action that will seek, among other things, a ruling that the votes held in the Nueces SD and CD Caucuses were invalid since in both cases the illegitimate delegation from Nueces was the majority vote.

I didn't notice any differences, but it was definitely nice to get all that information in a handy, easy to dispense format.

Good job, admins.

Sure. :D The Rally for the Republic has sold an additional 400 tickets since then, our sponsorship for the rally got a few hundred dollar boost, letters to the GOP is now over 11,000 signed, the Straw Poll has double its ticket sales, Nueces doubled its chip-in and the tribute video got a few hundred more views. :) We also received several administrative replies (change of e-mail addresses, etc) but no hate mail this time. :D

Seriously, while these things are true it's hard to gauge an overall result. It comes down to the marketing "impressions" where the more people see something the more they warm up to looking into it, so it might be the next time someone sees something that was in the e-mail and then they decide to act. Likewise, the e-mail could have been the second or third time for someone to learn about something which then made them decide to check into it.

I have found where the e-mail was posted on some blogs too. We did get a few MIA users back.

Thanks LLS. :)

I've noticed forum quality has increased by leaps and bounds in the past couple days... Of course, that probably resulted from something else.... :)

I just started back to the forums after a break right before that email was sent out. I thought you were tracking me and noticed I was active again and wanted to include me in mailings! But I see that is not the case.

I am glad it helped get some more attention back to the forums and think it was a great idea.
