Using Congress' summer recess, the Executive branch faced no opposition and allowed the Bush administration to extend the pilot program 2 more years allowing Mexican truckers to use US roads freely. Small US trucking companies and US drivers have extra competition along with high diesel rates during a time of rising unemployment.

Ok I just got chills up my arms when I saw this. Today they went after Gotti for a bunch of different stuff, including decades old murders. I was trying to think of a reason they'd go after him now. Does anyone remember that when all this Mexican trucking garbage went down, Gotti was basically ready to go to war against it? Then the story died...until today I guess?

wtf. This type of maneuver should be illegal.
You know what we need as an ammendment to the Constitution? Constitutional police. I'm not talking about the Supreme Court, they just hear a few chosen cases each year. I'm talking about an actual legal branch of the government that polices and enforces the Constitution of the United States. Now that is a big government proposal I could support.
