Rage Against the Machine will be playing at the Target Center on September 3rd. Please see the article below. Could it be that they might make a surprise appearance at the Rally?

i didn't even know Rage was back together.
They seem more like anarchists than libertarians but hey, I'll take it.

that would sorta kill the "family atmosphere" though, I think

"Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. for $60."

somethings wrong. how can they be at the target the same day giving an apparently unrelated concert?

Rage are commies, but I love their music.

Obama? He's as NWO as they come. People love to hang on to their fantasies. Disappointing coming from Morrello, considering he's supposed to be raging against the MACHINE, and not just the republican party.

True...but throw "Bulls on Parade" on the stereo and I guarantee you every single person in that arena would be ready to go kick some ass.

Nothing wrong with anarchists (people who want a voluntary world), but Rage lean more towards communism, unfortunately, which is the exact opposite of anarchism.

Anarchy has a bad connotation, but that's because people think of bomb-throwing anarchists. In reality, true anarchists are the most peaceful people that exist.

There are the anarcho capitalists which are the only real libertarians, and the anarcho socialists which are the bomb throwing retards.

I don't think having them would quite fit the message trying to be sent by the rally, so it seems pretty unlikely.

Of course they won't be playing at the Rally, people with their kids will be in attendance. So the day after they will be playing an exclusive concert specifically for RATM so everyone should know not to bring their kids. Either way it will throw a lot of attention our way. And it will put a lot of pressure on the RNC.

The rally is the second, not on the third.

I prefer "Freedom" from their 1994 self titled. Always jam that before I fight the NWO. We used to cover that in a band I played in. The compilation "30 for a Revoltuion" album is excellent. Should we ever need to armor up and ride, I'll be jamming that.
........anger is a gift

Rage, I love em, but they are too hardcore for main act for something like this. I seen them once back at the 1st or 2nd lalapalooza like 94 or 95ish. I would like to see them on the 3rd at the target center, but it will be too crazy because of the RNC, so I will stay away.

"Freedom" is a good tune. And I hear ya about going into battle. It'll be blasting in my car. That and some "Baba O'Riley".:D

Didnt Rage play at the Seattle WTO thing in like 99 or 2000 that ended up being a little unruly?

I kinda thought it had something to do with them back then. But I wasnt there.

You are correct (http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,35530-1,00.html). The event spawned the humorous, yet horribly misguided song (http://www.plyrics.com/lyrics/againstme/babyimananarchist.html) by Against Me.
