Just wondering if someone could help me. How does Pay Pal make money? If I donate money to RP's campaign through Pay Pal do they take a cut, or do they take money out of my account regularly just for being signed up.

No, they just take a percentage of what you donate (send).. So, say you send $10, paypal may take something like $0.50 cents from the transaction, so the person you sent money to only gets $9.50.

If you send $10 via PayPal, the recipient gets $9.41.

Credit card companies also take a cut though.

Paypal's fee depends on your volume. Under $3000/month it's 2.9% fee. More volume, lower fee. I think the lowest it goes is 1.9% or something, but you have to receive like $100,000/month through them. :p
