And working better than I could have expected.
2 of the recent http://dontvote4.us articles are on the:
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/upcoming
Hotlist and climbing fast and one has had the top spot at:
for the past 16 hours.

It looks like the top spot will be taken over by another anti-Fred story from the site shortly when it exits the Hot List to hit the Popular page.

The digg scores currently are:
445: http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/1994_Fred_Thompson_Senate_Debate_Video

96: http://digg.com/videos/people/4_2005:_Fred_Thompson%3bThe_primary_goal_of_govern ment_is_to_protect_Itself

25: http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Video_Mitt_does_a_tripple_flip_flop_on_guns_within _one_minute

I'll keep looking for more reasons for folks to look beyond the top tier, and you can help out by sharing your diggs on these links.

Also, if anyone has an itch to blog some RP news or opinions. I recently started http://RP4.US Upon registration folks get 'Contributor' access so you can start blogging right away. I have to approve the posts before they hit the site.

Keep up the good work.

Are you going to be doing any stuff on the Dems and how they AREN'T going to get the troops out of Iraq?

I've got a couple on Hillary posted already. I haven't been able to find any good vids of Obama or Edwards yet acting like war mongers, but yes, I'll be slamming any pro war candidate from either party. Biden would be easy to find stuff on, but he's out of the running at this point.

LOL, looks like Digg doesn't consider Fred to be a political figure, the vid got reclassified to Videos/People from the Election category.
I'll take it tho cuz it's bumping up faster over there than in the political section and its getting exposed to a non-pol audience. Bonus.

This looks pretty cool - but you may want to explain it very clearly which stories you want us to bury or digg.

I'm pretty new to this and I need things spoon fed to me ..thanks

The stories are being digged.
The candidates are being buried by the bad publicity resulting from the stories being dugg.
Got it? ;)

C-SPAN had a ticker at the bottom a little bit ago that had Democrat Senator Dick Durbin (I believe it was) quoted as saying that a withdrawal of troops is "politically unwise," or something similar. I bet tracking down that news could really help bolster the idea that people need to know: Democrats don't actually want to end the war.

The Fred Thompson one you linked, I clicked and got this:

Oops, what you're looking for isn't here!
The page you requested is not here but there are a few things you can try:

* Try searching for the story you're looking for using the form above.
* Go to the homepage to see the most recent stories.
* Browse the topics above to find the story.

Pretty sure it's a website bug? Please let us know and we'll try to get it fixed.

Digg moved it from the election section to the 'people' section and broke the old links.
Here is the new one:
http://digg.com/videos/people/4_2005:_Fred_Thompson%3bThe_primary_goal_of_govern ment_is_to_protect_Itself

and the original post has been updated.
Thanks for pointing that out, btw, the comments are getting nutty over there on this one.
