Here's the Digg submission, not mine, but I have lengthy comment. I simply C/P Ron's speech on the floor, and the Chinese response to this ridiculous House Resolution.

Powerful statement - out of 420 congressmen, only one dares speak the truth rather than going along with the crowd to remain popular.

Ron Paul!

Agreed. That was an incrediblly powerful statement he made. I wonder if anyone present in the house that day had even a second thought on their vote? Didn't they realize it was not their role as members of Congress?

Is there a video of that speech anywhere? Epic - but I want to hear the way he presented it, which was no doubt just as epic.

Robert Aderholt should be ashamed of himself. He has yet again disgraced Alabama.

I wish we had more men in congress like Ron Paul, and the only way to do that is if we head up and go for it ourselves.

This bill alone gives me 190 reasons (http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2008/roll539.xml) why we shouldn't waste our time trying to reform the Republican Party.

I'm not saying China should shake Ron Paul's hand but at least present his decided vote to the media and have them explain that its none of your business to control "our" country :)

I think this was a test for greater votes in congress when it comes to controlling the world.
