It seems like this talk show host might be receptive to the Ron Paul message. Does anyone know what he thinks about RP?

He is sindicated by ABC and is on Sirius right after Hannity

Neil Boortz touting himself as a libertarian makes me weary of any talk show host who does the same. Boortz is more willing than almost anyone I've ever heard to give up civil liberties in the name of "safety". There's nothing libertarian about that. Just as there's nothing conservative about most of today's republicans.

Oh, but Boortz is for gay marriage. Woop dee do! How outrageous! He's not anything like a neo-con! Yeah right.

But in the slim chance this Larry Elder is the real deal, it's worth a shot.

I've always liked Larry Elder, though he's drifted a little too close to Bush & Co. in the past few years. He's had Ron Paul on his show before, and right now I think he should be talking about Ron Paul all the time...but he's not.

Its worth a shot, but I think he may have embedded himself too deep into the party infrastructure (he keeps talking about how he might run for Congress).

Larry's a fine talkshow host, and I've listened to him for years, but he agrees with Bush's foreign policy. Aside from that issue, he probably agrees with Paul's views more than any other presidential candidate.

This is why the war/foreign policy issue is paramount for the freedom movement. No matter how libertarian or truly conservative someone is, or more often claims to be, on fiscal and social matters, it all becomes subordinate to the perpetual war mentality. Look at how many people are willing to overlook some of the other candidates big government position because they agree with them on the Iraq War and/or the War on Terrorism. How many people are willing to overlook RP's foreign policy position because they agree with him on most everything else? Not many.

Elder was "angry" over an editorial that the late Harry Browne had written regarding the terrorist attacks of September 11th.
