I was just visiting one of my old haunts and it turns out that the stupid/ignorant neocons are STILL blaming Bill Clinton. Here we are after two full terms of Bush and they're blaming Bill Cllinton for our current woes. How is that even possible? How can people be that ignorant/stupid?

Bill Clinton proposed the 2002 Iraq liberation act. I have no reason to defend the guy he is partly responsible for the mess going on.

Bill Clinton's foreign policy was as bad as any president in modern history. Overly interventionist and chickening out when the going got tough. So not only did our enemies resent us for our intervention they also didn't take us seriously. I have no doubt that AL qaeda never dreamed that the response to 9/11 would be so sweeping and brutal. I'm sure they thought we would toss a few missiles around and bomb a few aspirin factories and the American people would demand we pull our troops out of the Middle East. Of course you can't really bring this up around here because everyone knows 9/11 was an inside job and AL qaeda had nothing to do with it.

1998, not 2002.

But yes. Bill Clinton bombed the Iraqi people more in 4 days than HW Bush bombed during the whole Gulf War I.
Most people sadly don't know about this. Dubya used the same Iraqi Liberation Act as an excuse to convince congress, the UN, and the world that he should have every right to do what he wants like Clinton did.

Clinton is a horrible corrupt POS. He is just as much an interventionist with that Act and with Kosovo.

He also dipped into the SS fund a lot. The 3rd largest abuser of doing this behind Dubya & Reagan. Clinton wasn't nearly as big of a spender (I think that is because of the gridlock with a true conservative congress)...regardless he still dipped into SS and this is how he claims to have "balanced the budget" and come out with a surplus. He raided with SS. If he didn't, the budget wouldn't have been balanced.

Heh, I have of late dipped back into the old familiar world of Usenet, and the Neocon moonbattery there is nothing short of astonishing. If you're not a McCain shill, you are a "liberal" and FoxNews is the 5th book of the Gospel. No kidding! It's getting even uglier than I thought. Rather than moderating their neoconnery in the hopes of attracting fence-siters, they are going all out and becoming charicatures of neocon. It's almost hard to believe they are sincere...but they are!

They are neither that ignorant nor that stupid.

They are PUBLICLY blaming Bill Clinton because he is an effective scapegoat for their present situation, and serves as a tool to deflect the blame from being cast on themselves. (It is like the guilty little kid point thing finger at someone else... it doesn't mean that they actually believe the other person is to blame... they just want YOU to believe it. )

Never confuse what they say PUBLICLY with what they actually think, or believe, or know.

Propaganda for the masses is always full of lies.

And let's not forget NAFTA. Oh, and then there's the campaign funding corruption and the total prostitution of the Commerce Department. Wait-- that was the same thing

I think the point is that the neocons take absolutely NO responsibility for the massive damage George Bush and the Republicans have caused this country over the last eight years. Absolutely none. The current fiscal crisis can squarely be placed at the feet of George Bush and the Republicans for abandoning their roots and becoming even more socialist and more tyrannical than any other president in recent memory. The spending spree alone is unbelievable. Then, of course, the Dims came back into power in Congress and joined right in.

What you say is true, I'm not arguing that, but to say that Clinton is less to blame than Bush is not being fair. One could argue that it was the Clinton (and Bush, Sr. and so on) who set the stage for the War on Terror. Policies from prior administrations have profound and lasting effects, just ask Woodrow Wilson.

How can YOU be so ignorant and stupid?

Bill Clinton was the worst president we ever had, especially when enabling foolish war policies, raiding SS, and general illegal behavior, himself and his creepy wife.

Bill Clinton is just part of the bigger problem and is run by the same people who run Bush, Bush, Hillary, Obama and McCain.

Bill Clinton and Daddy Bush are touring the country promoting the new world order now, did you know this?

Bill Clinton ... what's not to hate?:mad::mad:

Bush and Clinton are 2 peas in a pod and are on the same team. The labels (R) and (D) are just put there to confuse us (cause infighting) and keep our eyes off the bigger picture.

It appears to be working too. :(

How do you get fierce partisans like Sematary to see this?

They are all rotten and impeaching just one ain't gonna help a bit.

We need to take out the whole rotten system, and all the elitists with it!!!!!!!!!

Impeachment is an a useless exercise in futility that just makes people look like moonbats.

Personally, I am for impeachment. Then jail. Start with Bush and work our way down.

Yes, they are all rotten and a whole lot needs to be exposed. If you recall, lots of things come out in impeachment hearings and a lot of people watch those things. ;)

I don't know whether Sematary is partisan or not. What I do know is that he worked his backside off for Ron Paul. That, I know for sure. That makes him good people in my book.

Are you high or something? Do you have ANY clue who I am? I don't support Clinton, nor do I agree with much, if anything, that he did in office. The whole point of my original post was to point out that the neocons STILL think it's all Bills fault without taking any responsibility for the last 8 years whatsoever. Man, get a clue.

Bill Clinton is still largely responsible for the state of the government today. And just because they attack Bill Clinton it means they're necocons? Ron Paul was a leading member of the group of congressman suing Bill Clinton.

Thank you for that... I'm glad to see someone gets it. :D

It's not either or, it's us or them, and they are both 'them'.

Ron Paul would not defend Bill Clinton for sure.

He's another one the press covered up for continually. The only reason Bush seems worse is, the press won't give Republicans the same pass.

Bill and Osama.

Two convenient, and largely irrelevant (one being out of office and the other dead), boogeymen, perfect for rattling the cages of the cave dwelling constituency of the Grotesque Old Party.

The Clintons invade Haiti for peace keeping purposes. Then they bombed Kosovo and sent peace keepers.
