Obama was (apparently) unaware of ABC's microphone - yet said nothing stupid, like calling a New York Times reporter a "huge asshole" or something. He's good with his words on camera and (what he thinks is) off.
What do you think Paul would say if something like that happened to him?

Yes, because people are naturally throwing insults when they think the mic isn't on. :D Also... just read this article. Bunch of stalking journalists!

Dr. Paul would likely be saying something like, "Man, I'm thirsty for a great big bottle of Fiji water.":D

Media would have crucified Ron Paul in such a case...
or they might do that anyways for saying boldly what he said during debates.

He'd probably say something like "Either that Bernanke is a total puppet or a total fuckin idiot.."

Hah.
Where I work, this is a major taboo (Rule One: Never eat food sent by viewers), and my concern must have shown. Paul grinned. "Maybe they're spiked with marijuana," he said.

So Obama just happened to miss the huge fuzzy mic in front of his face by the reporter? Yeah right. He saw an opportunity and took it.

I'm sorry there are a lot of things i hate Obama for, but calling an asshole and asshole aint one of them. LoL
I think everyone in the media should have the title Asshole applied to their names as a proper title. Like how you call a doctor a doctor. Well, you call a journalist an asshole.
Dr. Paul seems like a pretty wholesome fellow, though obviously he's got a sense of humor. I think you'd probably catch him insulting some one but not with cuss words. He'd probably hit him with well founded scathing criticism founded in logical observation, rather than just calling him a name.
