I hope this hasn't been posted before but a couple of days ago I read in Drudge that the feds have bought all the dry foods and canned butter from a big dried food outlet.
They must know something.
Has anyone heard or read that?

I think I heard that mentioned on the Patriot News Hour? earlier this week,,,,they stated the outlet would be out of food until late 2009, early 2010 due to the purchase.

Is this for the military? Packing up some MREs?

This is long term storage food. Freeze dried from what I understand.

I have never seen an MRE. Do they use freeze dried foods? Are the foods being collected to distribute in the event of an emergency like hurricane or earthquake?

Obviously, the Federal Lackeys are hoarding all the food to feed Emperor George when TSHTF.

I don't think the emperor eats freeze dried food.

MRE are already to eat and don't use freeze dried food in them.
They may be collected to distribute to 3rd world countries or some other place where there is a food crisis. Who knows?

They may be getting the food to use in the FEMA camps coming up. It's hard to say.
