Yup, you heard it right. And here's how. They need 11,000 more signatures in Ct. to get ballot access. They are paying $1.50 per signature. So, I'll be out Sunday and Wednesday having people sign their petitions. :-)
Since the timeline is so short, I probably won't get much opportunity to do more than that with my schedule but it should net me several hundred dollars (I hope).

As for the rest of what I need: I still have a chipin going that needs some love:
http://ronpaulcarepackages.chipin.com/moneys-to-attend-ron-paul-convention-in-minneapolis

AND - in case you missed it... I have a few auctions going on Ebay with the express purpose of helping me to raise funds to get to Minnesota. The first is a collection of Ron Paul memorabilia that I've collected over the last year. I think the real gem in this collection is the advertisement from Ames, Iowa. Here's the auction for that:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140251678232&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=004

And, also, I am auctioning off some vintage games for Nintendo series computers as well as Intellivision. Those auctions can be found here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140251780220&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=004
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140251785834&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=004

Any help is appreciated, whether it be a bid on one of these auctions - the Ron Paul memorabilia auctions is, I think, an excellent collection - or a donation to my chipin.

It's not the actual cost of getting there that is the biggest hurdle for me.

What costs are you concerned about then?

The weeks pay I don't get for missing work. Food. Lodging, etc...
My travel expenses, with a couple of travel partners would only be about $200 each way split between three people. The weeks pay needs to be covered though. I don't get paid vacation time or sick time so it has to come from somewhere.

Freedom isn't free....it costs a buck o' five.

If you don't throw it in, who will?

Talk to someone who hasn't put his blood, sweat and tears into this campaign for well over a year. Do you think I'm selling my most treasured items from this campaign for the fun of it?

Good idea- help the LP, help the CFL, and help yourself all at the same time.
