What is the stance on Federalism and States Rights?

I never hear anybody speak of these things any more. I have never heard Dr. Paul speak on the issue either?

As for state rights, the Ron Paul movement has both libertarian and conservative positions and agendas, so almost everyone here wants to move power from the federal gov't to the state gov'ts and power the states have to local governments.
For Ron Paul, here's a 2002 article by Dr. Paul hosted on Lewrockwell.com (http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul68.html)

Oh sorry, no I think Dr. Paul would be great for NM, but unfortunately we can't even write-in a Ron Paul vote this November.
