As you may know, absentee ballots are out and people are voting already. Some 20% of voters vote absentee, in fact, with 13,000 votes needed to win the primary and 70,000 voters registered as permanent absentees, it's quite possible for Linda to win the primary before Election Day!
Help get a true, endorsed, Ron Paul Republican elected!
We've set up a system to allow anyone, anywhere to help get out the absentee vote for Linda at www.goldthorpeforcongress.com (http://www.goldthorpeforcongress.com). We provide you the script, voter's name and phone number, and scripts for answers for any questions a voter may have, and a form for you to report the results. After each call, you can click to receive another name and number to call.
Your participation will make all the difference whether Linda's campaign succeeds. If 500 people help, each need only win 26 votes for Linda to win the primary before Election Day. Realistically, the primary will still be critical, but the more people can help, the more absentee votes we get, the better the head start. Although Linda's campaign has been extremely active in winning votes up until now, we have no illusion that Tom Casperson, as a 3-term state rep, will have an advantage in name recognition. We must do this.
All you need to do is two things:
1) Sign up on goldthorpeforcongress.com as a volunteer, if you haven't already done so. Then, login to Supporter Central at the website, and click the button that reads "Canvass absentee voters by phone." Then just follow the instructions on the screen.
2) Urge everyone you know to do the same. Tell your meet-up group. Tell your local citizens' groups. Post about it on pro-liberty websites and blogs. Get the word out by every means available.
If we succeed, we are well on the way to re-claiming an important Congressional seat from a statist for a true conservative. But we can't do it without you. Thanks for all that you do for our campaign.
