RP should send him a copy of the Constitution in a box labeled "recommended reading"...

God knows what Freddy would do to the Constitution... Amend it, rip it up, use it as toilet paper...

"The Friends of Fred Thompson have announced that Senator Thompson will participate in the Republican Presidential debate to take place at Morgan State University on September 27. Look for more future posts about this event. We will want to organize a strong showing of support!"

Fred, Rudy and Mitt will carve up a lot of neo-con votes between them - leaving a big opening for RP if we can get the word out.

Not when it's not necessary. Amendments should be born of necessity, not partisan desires.

So was Reagan, but he was a amazing politician and a man of great integrity.

And he was a deep intellectual thinker, despite what you hear from the MSM nowadays about he was "stupid."

I guess a moron delivered (and wrote himself) this speech:

Reagan was?
Is that way he raised the debt ceiling 3 times and expanded government to levels seen before, after proclaiming in his inauguration that "government is the problem"?

The problem with Reagan is that he didn't carry out what he talked about on the campaign trail. After the assassination attempt, Bush took over and ran the show- and neoconism was born.

I think his supporters will be his undoing, have no fear. I mean, have you SEEN the kind of people that support him on the Fred Thompson (http://www.fredthompsonforum.com) forum?

Yeah, there was a big difference in what Reagan said and what he did. Never quite figured it out.

I can't tell who the real supporters are... Isn't the entire a forum a joke created by the RP fans and the Fred Heads mistook it for the real thing?

Yeah that seems so obvious that you would think that the OWNERS of these guys would cut loose some of them by direct order to prevent this from happening.

The GOP is really in shambles right now... Corrupt politicians, an uneducated (with regard to politics as a whole) conservative base, and a philosophy that promises the needless destruction of the enemies we actively enrage.
