Probably the ones we don't know exist.

IRS.

They require me to waive my 5th amendment rights.

They steal my earnings before I see a dime.

They enforce servitude - earning money on my labor is not a gain - yet they tax it like it is.

there is little oversight or accountability

I second this, but if I have to list known ones, I might have to go with the NSA. "No Such Agency." Not only does the fact that they tried to lie about their existence for so long disturb me, but also the fact that they have the capability directly or indirectly to spy on almost anyone in the world at any time. Who's to say what all is in their database about you? I'd wager everything you've ever typed, every cellphone call you've participated in, etc. Not only that, but they could so easily (and probably do) manufacture/fake crap to pin "terrorism" charges on you and get you locked up and raped and tortured for supporting the Constitution. I'm sure that and "Ron Paul" are flagged words over there.

Oh, also, they can manufacture 'justifications' to the CIA/FBI for warfare.

Now that I think about it, this pick still stands, but whichever "agency" is in charge of "Continuity of Government" probably takes the cake in terms of sheer evil.

Department of Education. They're turning our children into wacko-environmentalists and socialists. Way overboard with political correctness. Only one school of thought (no pun intended) is accepted, if you have a different opinion than what is taught, your beliefs are attacked and ridiculed.

In fact, I'd go one step further than RP and say no more public education, vouchers for everyone.

DEA. Unconstitutional, against our rights to consumption, thieves, intimidation tactics...the list goes on.

FDA. In cooperation with the HMOs and AMA have made health care awful and expensive in this county. Take em out!

The BPR Business and Professional Regulation types that compel licensure, not based on the honesty of the individual but on on ones willingness to simply buy an annual license.

Trouble is, these departments are not well funded so they have to DIG for violations in order bring in fines revenue in order to sustain and perpetuate themselves.

Yes, I was a victim!

I'm going to throw in my opinion:

Federal Reserve- Has caused massive inflation in this country and now it is alot harder for the poor and middle class to support themselves then it was a generation ago. They also now have a 8 trillion dollar debt.

IRS-Steals money from innocent people at the point of a gun, invades privacy, and spends the money on all the corrupt government programs including the federal reserve.

Selective Service-When it is active.

DEA- Asset Forfeiture laws, swat team raids on innocent people.

NSA and CIA- spies on innocent people and set up dictatorships.

ATF- right to bear arms.

Dept. of Education- Preaches socialism, political correctness, and gives state and local governments funds to harass unschoolers with truancy laws.

Agreed. If everyone thinks for awhile about this, it is the MOST important department to get rid of FIRST. They teach lies, conformity, socialism, confusion, promote bullying (yes, attack others in the classroom who have a different opinion which leads to more bullying outside the classroom!). The future depends on the education of the children. They are being brainwashed and dumbed down beyond belief, and as you can see from Miss Teen South Carolina's response, we are in deep doo doo. The longer they are being indoctrinated and dumbed down, the worse off the future of America. Obviously, look where we are now. The entire country should be in outrage! Plus, puts a big dent in the recruiting efforts at the high schools, they see children as cannon fodder.

No more abusive terror drills and liberal sex education. No more cameras in the schools, treating kids like criminals who should be 'watched'. The new local high school and middle school where I live have NO lockers. Why? The excuse.....drugs. Heh, kids could just put drugs in their backpacks. Think they are being treated like slaves who should carry a load of notebooks and heavy books around all day? Think they are being treated as guilty before proven innocent? The message they are trying to send......you cannot be trusted. The Dept of Education is EVIL!

IRS, they still can't provide the law that states we have to pay taxes on our wages. People are sitting in prison, and no law exist on the books.

Federal Reserve, they caused the depression, and will cause the next one soon if America doesn't wake up.

ATF, alcohol, tobacco, and firearms are legal.

CIA, over throwing governments, so the corporations can get natural reasources cheap. Also, suspected of killing JFK.

Dept. of Ed. dumbing down the kids on purpose.

FDA, drugging the kids, and the sheep. antidepressants are evil.

I would disagree, the 16th amendment is fairly clear.

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration. "

If it was that simple why would droves of people argue against it?

Commonsense tells us there is something deeper.

Freedom Law School is offering $100,000 to the first person who can demonstrate any of the three propositions listed below. The winner can collect up to $300,000 if he or she can prove all of the propositions below.

1. Show what statute written by the Congress of the United States requires Americans to file an income tax “CONFESSION” (return) and pay an income tax.

2. How can Americans file an income tax “CONFESSION” (return) without giving up their 5th amendment right not to give any information to the government that may be used to prosecute them.

3. Prove that the 16th amendment to the United States Constitution, which, according to the IRS and modern American courts permitted the income tax to exist was, lawfully added to the United States Constitution.

Two different arguments. He stated that "IRS, they still can't provide the law that states we have to pay taxes on our wages. People are sitting in prison, and no law exist on the books"
There is a law that states that we have to pay income on our wages but the law did not go far enough by telling what process was required in order to collect those taxes. The government absolutely has the right, through the 16th amendment which was legally ratified. The third question that they asked has been proven many times but they simply say that the answer doesn't meet their standards and they don't pay out. I whole heartedly agree that the tax is voluntary in "theory" but when your ass is theoretically in prison, who cares. I'll pay my tax. Can anyone honestly read the 16th amendment and look over the history of a 75% ratification and state that it is an illegal amendment. The courts cannot overturn an amendment because the courts only job is to adjudicate constitutionality.
Hell I wish it were true, I paid out 16K last year because I am self employed. I even live in a state that never ratified the damn thing.

Ever read John Taylor Gatto? I'm not sure if he talks about socialism, but he is definitely a critic of public education.

As someone who works for the "military industrial complex" I see it all the time. Million/Billion dollar contracts given out by Generals, Colonels etc to old college buddies, previous military friends that now work for the private sector, those who do favors for the decision makers, etc...

And as someone who has done research for certain projects, the question tends to be...what do they want the result to be. And then the research is tailored toward making the customer happy.

I can only speak for what I've seen up close. When billions of dollars are being thrown around, the palms get greased.

Actually, I think I've run into his book online in my constant research but haven't looked into it much. I've also found a free PDF of The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America that I need to read some time.

I really like this site. Covers all the crap going on in the public school system, and some charter schools are starting to cave in to socialistic education pressure, too (from what I've read elsewhere). When I read this stuff, I have a hard time sleeping. Children's minds are being raped, they are being abused. The first page starts talking about psychiatry in the schools, but then goes to links to articles on the website talking about the different aspects of socialism in our schools. Recommends some great books, too. If I had a child, I would yank them out of public school so fast. Then, either home school if possible, or research to find private or Christian school for them to attend.

1. This is not possible because the requirement to file an income tax return is not written by Congress. Congress in all most every law grants regulatory power to the executive branch or agency designated to bring about compliance with the law. The requirement to file an income tax return specifically is a regulatory requirement issued in the Federal Register.

2. Don't put anything incriminating on it.

3. Secretary of State Knox certified it as such
