I'm starting to use iGoogle as my homepage now and I want to track the market value of gold and silver (the Index I guess). Does anyone know what symbol(s) to use? If there is no symbol to track the price of physical gold and silver what symbols are useful in tracking the trends?

Here you can add Kitco Gold & Silver gadgets to your iGoogle.

This might be good too...

If you are just looking for something to have an updated price on your screen and you use Vista I would recommend the Gold and Silver gadget. It keeps me from having to go and check the price on websites 10 times a day =p

The Kitco Tabs was okay. I wanted to add gold and silver to Google Finance Portfolios (http://www.google.com/ig/directory?hl=en&url=www.google.com/ig/modules/finance_portfolios.xml) so I didn't have to see a big bulky chart.
