I'm currently in State Custody but my case worker wouldn't have a problem with me going to a political rally, but she does have a problem with me going to St. Paul for a political rally because it's out of state. I can fly by myself, but then what, I get there, I'll know nobody and have no transportation. I'd have some cash but only enough for a plane ticket, food, and some souvenirs and a picket sign :D But I still need to sort out some kind of way I can get someone I know to go with me. Possibly my case worker, she might need a few days off. I could ask around though, but hope is fading..... fading.... fading..... jk, just got to explore some more options, but one way or another, I'm heading up there whether I gots to carpool and piss her off :D

my advice (and im assuming you want it since you posted this here :)... first try the non-pissing off your case worker way...

some options:

1. Offer to pay her way

2. Ask an older RP supporter who is going from your meetup group to agree to "take
responsibility" for you... this can be done without a big legal mess... they agree to be your safe, responsible chaperone, but sign something saying they have legal right to make medical advice, etc... they may have to get something notarized. (if you choose this option, be prepared for the person to be a little nervous about what you do, possibly overbearing, and PLEASE do not take advantage of their niceness by doing something stupid like drinking or smoking pot)

(i did this for a few minors in NH, assuring their parents they would not be involved in any porn rings, or illegal activities, and luckily the ones that came were on good behavior, and i didn't have any pissed off parents)

Thanks ROXIC, I'll throw these options around and see what she thinks.
