Yeah, I never cease to be amazed at the orgs who rely on Real Media for their hosted multimedia. Real is similar to WMV except where WMV only likes to fail on all non-Microsoft platforms, Real likes to fail on...well...pretty much all platforms. Quicktime tends to be the least adopted because 1) it's an Apple product and 2) the files tend to be some 10% larger... yet it's rate of failure is an order of magnitude lower than the other two on all 4 major platforms.

I've never had issues with Real player. That's just me I guess.

Did you see the chairnman blow a conversation with Ron about an alternative to the Fed. I hope he gets removed...not being open to other alternatives doesn't help our country's growth...

I didn't watch the whole thing...anyone know his name? State?

Barney Frank (D-MA)

BTW, he's the co-sponsor of the online gambling bill with RP, and has a bill for decriminalizing marijuana also.

I love when Barney Frank says there's no alternative to the Federal Reserve System...and Dr. Paul says, "I know one."

I can't watch the OP link. Does someone have a YouTube link?
My uncle left me a message about this video tonight and he sounded
very excited and so I'm curious to watch this. Earlier I searched
YouTube for it but didn't get a hit.

Anyone? :)

can you even estimate how much that would cost?
If only we can pull a V for Vendetta and highjack the public airwaves for an hour.

For those of you that either don't want to install the bloatware that is realplayer or have issues with that software try real alternative (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/real_Alternative.htm).
It's fairly lightweight, non-intrusive and does not integrate itself into the OS shell.

Barney Frank just totally insulted Paul. Disgusting.
Not to mention how he cut him off so Paulson would not have to finish swimming around for an answer. Dr. Paul should have insisted that he finish answering the question or gotten another question. That was totally unfair.

"firm wide risk management...." bite me, bitches. how can firms quantify something none of them understand - and how can they quantify or measure risk when they are all reliant on a sporadic incompetent secretive FRB?

Anyone remember "Long Term Capital"? Black Scholes option pricing may have won the authors some prizes, but one of these gentleman was an advisor to "Long Term" Capital. (LTC went tits-up a few years ago).

Wall Street's "systemic risk"? all inherent in the deficient actions of the FRB.
