The three individuals who make the most phone calls from the Victory office
between July 4th and July 10th will meetGovernor Mike Huckabee and have a photo opportunity at the State Convention the morning of Saturday, July12th.
As a delegate to the Iowa GOP convention, I received this invitation by email a couple of days ago.
My reply was:
"What's the second prize, TWO photos with Governor Mike?"
P.S. This is part of the GOP's ongoing strategy to buff the anemic McCain candidacy. Get one of the more popular former candidates (Huckabee or Romney) to come to the state conventions where THEY won so that they can tout the wonderful qualities of John McCain. I think they call this "closing ranks and moving forward". I call it holding your nose, closing your eyes and discarding your principles.
