I've done my part (and more), but now I'm out.

Honestly... Marches are too collectivist an activity for me. I'm gonna stay home and try to finally decide if I'm learning Cantonese or Icelandic or what. The only way an individual can affect his political environment is with his feet.

Um, that came out wrong. I mean his OWN feet, by moving to a freer country, and no one else's. :o

(The admins took away my ability to edit posts for criticizing Chuck Baldwin.)

I hope the march gets a great turnout. I'll be happy if it even gets 10,000+ liberty lovers. Unfortunately, the suspension of the official campaign last month really took the wind out of our sails for just about all projects that were scheduled then.

Escaping (retreat) is not affecting your political environment. It's accepting what the man gives you. So good luck with that.

My husband and I along with our two teenage sons will be there. We wouldn't miss it for the world. We can't wait to be with other liberty lovers and like minded individuals. My husband and I saw Ron Paul in Nashville and I want sooo much for my sons to be able to see him and what better place than in Washington DC! We are counting the hours!!!

I had planned on going, but I can't go to both DC and MN, so I'm going to Minnesota instead.

I'm going to DC with my family - really need a day of common sense and compassion in full throttle, as most days are spent talking with good intentioned yet sadly manipulated socialists or the openly apathetic, or confused and misinformed Republicans, one on one, and after a year and a half of that, I'd like to spend an entire day surrounded by exactly the type of humanity we're all working towards. It'll be good for all of us to witness and be a part of the determination to never give up. DC's march and rally is the best way of saying to yourself and the government "I still have hope, and nobody will ever take that from me, because I'm willing to back up that hope with action. I know what I'm working so hard for, and I will never, ever give up on it."

This movement is much bigger than just this election. Ron Paul is a true patriot that deserves to be supported. We really need to have a big showing in D.C. or all those critics that keep saying we are nothing more than spammers of polls will look right. The war is far from over, this revolution is just beginning so cheer up everyone! :)

I know what you mean. I had already planned for this. But won't be able to make it to MN... :( You'll be with us in spirit I am sure :)

Thank you Revolution Broadcasting for making it possible for those who can't make it to still be a part of it....

mstrmac1,

Even though I found the language of your post a little extreme, I found the content of it to be quite compelling. This is the post that pushed me over the edge into Washington D.C.

Thank you.
Tim

Thanks.... sorry for the language... it was a great time. There were at least three or four times I got chills.
