This is pointless. The federal reserve system is flawed in a way that it is not fixable by replacing the man in charge. No one man or small group will ever have the necessary information to make the right decision for the whole economy. The premise that we need someone in charge of monetary policy is also flawed. The bank needs to be abolished and liquidated by the Federal government. The dollar will then be able to be backed by gold at the new rate of exchange that will be determined after liquidation.
