Jones Soda has Ron Paul on their bottles
Posted July 5th, 2008 by billsebe

Thanks to pressure from the Paulites, Jones soda has all four candidates represented on their bottles of soda. So if your into collecting Ron Paul things, or if you just like the idea of owning soda with Ron Paul on the side ; I'd check it out

http://www.campaigncola.com/...

they're keeping tabs on how many bottles of soda are sold for each candidate and RP is getting his butt kicked. Jones soda makes their soda with pure cane sugar, American soda (thanks to crazy high sugar tariffs) are made with corn syrup, so these taste a lot better.

Who wouldn't vote for RP with a drink with his face on it???

Quote from description:

“This man of the white coat isn’t afraid to say “NO” to a legislation that is non-reflective of the constitution. This revolutionary cola has a natural taste with a little love inside. We finally found something Dr. No can say yes to, Ron Paul Revolution Cola.”

Would the great Dr. actually approve of drinking soda? Does he not drink Fiji water?

Also, seems that the starting gun happened a while ago for the other 'candidates'...

Like the Truth-O-Meter!

$15 / six pack... ARGH!!!

Hey, even if people don't buy it they'll at least see it. It's also a nice to see that a little public pressure plus Jones' self interest gave rise to a soda, description and label for our man.

Gah! Barack!

I wonder if the $15 for a six pack has anything to do with the Sugar regulation that Ron Paul writes about in The Revolution: A Manifesto.

Do they make these campaign colas with corn syrup?

The other sodas have several months of sales in the bag. Paul has been up for less than a month.

No, I don't think so. Actually I think Jones soda is made from Sugar Cane.

Supposedly Ron Paul mentions Jones Soda in his recent book. He says he prefers them because they use real sugar instead of corn syrup and says the reason more soda companies don't use real sugar are because trade restrictions drive up sugar prices.

It's too bad they are so expensive. If there was some way we could buy them in bulk for cheaper we could sell them at events like the march and the convention in Minneapolis.... :D

You probably can get them for about 60% off if you call them and buy them in bulk.

Although I'm sure you'd need a permit or something to sell them in Washington. Sigh.

where does it say in his book he prefers "Jones Soda"? all his book talks about is the tariff on sugar cane.

$30 sounds steep. I'm sure it's heavy though, and maybe it has to be handled specially because it's carbonated?

If the Obama people can afford it, so can we, dammit. :)

You know, for the past couple of days Paul's soda has been vastly outselling Obama, McCain and Hillary's. If they included Paul from the start, he'd easily be winning this thing I think. Jones Soda cost themselves a lot of sells waiting till two or three days ago to include Ron Paul.

In the short time the soda has been available, Ron Paul has almost caught up with McCain and Hillary, and at this rate will probably pass Obama in a few weeks, or less.
