I actually support a form of government called "Hello Kitty-ocracy." Though complex and nuanced, it is essentially an autocratic form of government where all power belongs to a small, cute retarded kitten.

So many names. I'm sure none of them fit exactly, but I think perhaps I would be best categorized as a minarchist.

Yeah, that's what I chose as well.

From Wikipedia:

In civics, minarchism, sometimes called minimal statism, or small government, is the belief that the size, role and influence of government should be limited. They believe that a state is necessary, but should be minimal enough to protect the liberty and property of each individual. They generally believe in a night watchman state, limited to courts, roads, defense, prisons and taxes.

The term was coined in 1970 or 1971 by Samuel Edward Konkin III, an agorist.[1][2] Many minarchists consider themselves also as libertarians. The term is perhaps most often used to differentiate libertarians who believe a state is necessary to maximize individual liberty, from the market anarchists who believe that the state itself should be opposed because it infringes on individual liberty.

Let's not forget, though, that we're all still members of this movement, whatever exactly it is. I have taken to calling it the Freedom or Liberty Movement. There's much more that unites us, than divides.

I voted paleoconservative, but I was not aware of what a minarchist was until I just looked it up. So when you tally the scores, delete one from paleoconservative and add one to minarchist.

I.E.: I just fucked the poll up a lil bit.

I voted "anarcho-capitalist", but I'm still skeptical about privatized police and courts. I'm just not sure how these would operate specifically. Still, if it's good enough for Murray Rothbard...

in terms, philosophically speaking I'm a minarchist...however, in terms of how I'd actually vote/what I'd do, I'd like be a Libertarian conservative or as Murray Rothbard and Lew Rockwell said a "paleo-Libertarian".

Paulitician

I consider myself an ultra-liberal, in the classical sense of the word liberal. You might even say I'm philosophically an anarchist, since I believe that ideally there is no need for a coercive government. I believe people can do better than and live without coercive government, but it will only happen when that's what the people believe too.

Is it just me avoiding the religion threads or has Theocrat chilled out considerably?

Too many of these labels overlap each other....

Objectivist and Minarchist, libertarian conservative and minarchist, Anarcho-capitalist and agorist, Libertarian-leaning democrat and "libertarian socialist".
